Come Hear the Evolution During Namm Show

One night only, on Thursday, January 22, dBTechnologies will host a night at The Grand Theatre in Anaheim.

One night only, on Thursday, January 22, dBTechnologies will host a night at The Grand Theatre in Anaheim that marks the beginning of a new chapter in the VIO Series. For one evening during NAMM Week, the theater becomes the canvas for a system unlike anything we’ve brought to you before. While the full story will be told in due time, guests at this launch event will be the first to hear the next step in loudspeaker evolution. This is not a preview. It is a full-scale deployment in a real musical environment — a chance to experience what comes next, before the rest of the world does.

A Rare Collaboration
To mark the occasion, we’re bringing together artists from American Hi-Fi and Eve 6, two bands who helped define an era of alternative rock and whose fingerprints are woven through some recognizable rock and alternative hits. Stacy Jones and Jamie Arentzen —join forces with Max Collins and Ben Hilzinger for two exclusive sets, including a guest appearance on one track. The night pairs new technology and live performance, creating an environment where both are celebrated as part of the same experience.

American Hi-Fi
Boston-born and rooted firmly in the golden era of guitar-driven alt-rock, American Hi-Fi rose to acclaim with radio staples such as “Flavor of the Weak,” “The Art of Losing,” and “Another Perfect Day.” Stacy Jones — vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and a musician equally at home in the studio and on the stadium stage — has a career that spans Letters to Cleo, Veruca Salt, and a long-standing role as Music Director and drummer for Miley Cyrus, from the earliest Hannah Montana era through today’s global tours and broadcast performances. Jamie Arentzen, lead guitarist, is a fixture of modern rock sessions and a key member of Miley Cyrus’ touring band, bringing a signature edge and musicality to both American Hi-Fi and Cyrus’ live shows.

Eve 6
From Southern California’s alternative scene came Eve 6, whose breakout singles “Inside Out” and “Here’s to the Night” remain anthemic, melodic, and instantly recognizable — their catalog still resonating decades later. Performing at the event are Max Collins, vocalist and bassist, and Ben Hilzinger, drummer.

At Front of House
A top-tier mix engineer — Paul Hager with credits including Miley Cyrus, Chappel Roan, St Vincent, SNL, DEVO, Goo Goo Dolls and more— will take command of FOH for the evening. The two bands will join forces for a pair of high-energy sets, blending hits, reimagined arrangements, and the kind of moments that define NAMM Week.

Court 'N Jo
In addition, we have the DJ team of Court ’N Jo – two fabulous DJs based in San Diego, CA joining us to spin a varied offering of house beats mixed with global flavours to round up the musical talent. From the energy of the performances to the atmosphere of The Grand Theatre, the night is designed to showcase the new dBTechnologies Loudspeaker System in its natural habitat: flanking a real stage, delivering real music in front of a real audience. No spec sheets. No explanations. Just the experience.
