DBTechnologies and Viva Afrika Rock South Africa at Mediatech Africa Expo 2013
The important partnership between Viva Afrika and dBTechnologies featured an important role in Mediatech Africa 2013, held in the Coca Cola Dome of Johannesburg, from the 17th to the 19th of July.
The three day expo has grown to become Africa's biggest and most successfull trade exhibition. It represented the perfect occasion for dBTechnologies to strenghten its working experience with african distributor Viva Afrika, and promote its products inside the continent.
, as Export Manager, and Marco Cantalù, as System Engineer, had the pleasure of representing the Headquarters in Bologna and working alongside Viva Afrika's team, for the occasion.
“Viva Afrika has been excellent in organizing a complete exposition of our brand.” stated System Engineer, Marco Cantalù
“All in all, we were given a very big and complete booth, an italian staff to illustrate the products, and both an internal and external demo space. Everything possible was done to present the italian brand in what is now the most important expo of Southern Africa.”The demos were presented by Viva Afrika both outdoor and indoor.
The indoor demos featured products from the DVX Series, and were on show throughout the days of the expo.
The outdoor demos took place every day, twice a day, from 11:15 to 11:30, and from 15:15 to 15:30, in the Outdoor Sound Demo Area. On show were 6 T4's with 4 S30's, and 6 T12's with 10 S1521N
, all belonging to the famous DVA series
. The feedback on the demos, back in the booth, was very positive as the systems stood out strongly against the competition of bigger and more historical brands such as JBL, L' Acoustics, Martin Audio, Nexo, etc.
Many people coming from the outdoor demo area approached the stand in search of information about these important products, which stood out for their amazing price to quality ratio.
Evidence of Viva Afrika's
excellent organization comes from the victory of the Platinum Certificate, for best stand award! An important recognition for the hard work of these days in the expo, by one of the leading distributors on the african market. A special thanks, on behalf of dBTechnologies, goes to Luis Madeira
and Bernard Pienaar
, CEO of Viva Afrika, together with all their efficient and competent staff.
