Con S118, dBTechnologies completa la serie de cajones de graves VIO con la tecnología de última generación de amplificadores unida a la experiencia en el diseño acústico.

Un subwoofer suspendido, equipado con un woofer de neodimio de 18” (bobina de voz de 4”) y creado para completar con frecuencias de gama baja impresionantes (que llegan a 33 Hz) y SPL vigoroso (hasta 139 dB) de frentes de onda precisas, coherentes con la fase de VIO L210.

De hecho, dBTechnologies ha desarrollado un diseño de carga de trompeta, manteniendo el tamaño de un gabinete de subwoofer con carga de frente, que da por resultado una ventaja doble: dimensiones (y peso – solo 41,5 kg) y una respuesta de frecuencias notablemente inferior incluso a larga distancia.

Esto hace que el subwoofer sea la perfecta extensión de frecuencias de gama baja de los arrays VIO cuando se requiera un largo alcance.

Los puntos acústicos adicionales del sistema se incrementan mediante un amplificador de Clase D de Digipro G4® 1600W, la última generación de la tecnología de amplificadores Digipro que ha contribuido considerablemente al éxito de muchas series activas profesionales de dBTechnologies. Equipado con PFC (Corrección del Factor de Potencia) y SMPS , VIO S118 es altamente resistente a fluctuaciones de la tensión de línea.

El preamplificador Digipro G4 presenta un módulo de ranura que permite al sistema la monitorización y el control a través del RD Net. Además, el sistema está listo para actualizaciones futuras con la red de transmisión de audio digital DanteTM: de hecho, VIO S118 también presenta un sistema NFC y un LED en la rejilla frontal.

Los amplificadores también permiten al usuario efectuar una prueba automática en la electrónica y los transductores antes y después del uso.

El módulo de los amplificadores cuenta con un control de atenuación incorporado y un módulo de retardo que permite alcanzar un retardo máx. de 9.9 ms con pasos de 0.1 ms. El proceso prefijado de cardioide incorporado procesa el sonido de las configuraciones del subwoofer de cardioide hacia atrás (ya sea suspendido o apilado en el suelo)

El gabinete S118 está realizado de madera contrachapada Multiplex recubierta con un acabado de poliurea negro y equipado con un hardware integrado que permite 1 o más subwoofers suspendidos en un array de subwoofers o en la parte superior de un array VIO L210.

Se puede suspender el sistema a través de la flybar DRK-210 y conectar a los arrays VIO L210 mediante un adaptador FSA-VIO L210.

El carro específico DO-VIOS118 se puede enganchar directamente en los subwoofers suspendidos facilitando las operaciones de desmontaje y transporte.

The lntelligent Power-On sequence circuit controls the sequence in which the main power supplies of all units within an array ramp up. As a result, each module is switched on in a different time frame, keeping the overall system’s inrush current low.

NFC and LED
Near Field Communication proximity sensors are used to determine the position of each box within an array. This technology, together with a hi-brightness LED bulb on the front of the enclosure, contributes to help the user to recognize and match each box with their position on the remote control software.

Opto-isolated preamp
The floating audio input design grants a digital optical isolation between earth ground from the mains and the audio ground flowing into the Preamplifier board.
This galvanic isolation greatly improves resistance to interferences and any unwanted buzzing and noises.

RDNet
Digital net for bi-directional control of connected devices. 
The acronym RDNet originates from the development, on behalf of RCF and dBTechnologies, of a universal network which allows adjustments in real time and supervision of all the connected systems, using cables based on ethernet cat 5 wires. 
With the specific software and the interfaces control 2 and control 8, a complete command of the acoustic system will be possible allowing real time supervision on each electrical component of the various speakers.
