dBTechnologies' MINIBOX and ACTIVE SUBS to power “Argentina
Feeds You” soundtrack.
The Argentinian Pavilion at Expo in Milan receives each
day thousands of visitor from all over the world. The pavilion is housed on a
cluster of aligned silo-like structures containing a high concentration of
audio-visual technology, simulators, interactive systems and multi sensorial
spaces dedicated to the history and landscape of Argentina.
The multimedia itinerary starts outside the pavilion and
continues in the indoor space where visitors are immersed in images and sound.
The multimedia installation needed a powerful, clearsound
yet discreet audio system in order to give the audience the feeling of being part
of a realistic soundscape without interfere with the projections.
Argentinian company Todomusica (official dBTechnologies
distributor in Argentina) was in charge of the multimedia setup and chose a
system composed of MINIBOX L160D and Active SUB 28D speakers.
L160D is a compact and lightweight speaker perfect for
permanent installations and SUB 28D provides low end reinforcement in an extremely
compact size.
The speakers have been flown on the ceiling in clusters
of 3 (2 L160D and 1 SUB 28D) all along the exhibition itinerary.
