The Sales & Product Management team of dBTechnologies Deutschland GmbH recently visited AEB, dBTechnologies’ headquarters in Bologna, to get to know and gain some hands-on experience with the company’s latest products.
The agenda included demos of the new Sub 15H and Sub 18H, the successors to the popular Sub-D models. In addition to enjoying some very impressive comparison auditions, the crew saw a variety of setups, such as cardioid, end-fired and bass arrays, in action. The hands-on workshops vividly illustrated how easy these configuration options can be put into practice courtesy of the Sub 18H and 15H’s built-in delays.
The brand-new DVA Mini system featured prominently in another audition/demo. Attendees discovered how easy this little rig is to handle and how quickly it can be set up. Various configurations with the new Sub 18H and DVA S30 subwoofers showed how well it harmonizes with subwoofers.
The new DVX DM12 TH monitors were also put through their paces with an impressive display of their audio performance capabilities. Other highlights included the enclosure’s unique adjustable baffle board, which turns a left version into right and vice versa with just a few twists of the wrist.
The visit was topped off with a guided tour of the R&D department and entire manufacturing facility given by the Head of R&D, Claudio Ottani.
