KOREA: Italian loudspeaker specialist dBTechnologies has appointed Dasan SR as its official distributor for South Korea. The news caps a year of significant Asian expansion for the Bologna-based manufacturer, including seven new appointments in recent months alone. As part of the Dasan portfolio it joins major brands including EAW and Powersoft.
The partnership was announced during the Dasan SR Partner’s Day, which took place at the JW Marriot hotel in Seoul. In attendance alongside a host of dealers from across the country was dBTechnologies’ product specialist Andrea Micheletti, who subsequently spent three days training the new distributor’s sales and technical personnel.
Following the announcement, Dasan SR marketing and planning director Jeff Yonghee Na described the company as determined to deliver ‘both excellent sales for dBTechnologies and an effective support service for end-users’. He added, ‘We are very excited to be able to offer dBTechnologies to our customers, since these unique audio systems perfectly fit in our product range and will allow us to work extensively in the corporate, government and worship sectors.
