A few weeks ago Manila added a new hot spot to its sparkling nightlife: Valkyrie Club opened its door last november and immediately became the place to be and be seen, with a busy schedule of internationally renowned Djs. Martin Garrix was the first international guest to kickstart the party at the new club, which is now the biggest club in Manila and one of the biggest in the Philippines, 

Club owner Erik Cua (which also owns Manila's Palace Club, Universe Club and Republiq Club) and the whole Philippines club scene had great expectations for the new venue, and its PA system had to meet demanding requirements. That's why owner and partners decided to set up a shoot-out demonstration in a large indoor venue in Manila, comparing 4 systems of 4 different brands. 

After the demo and a week of evaluation of design and costs, Technical Consultant & Club Partner Rex Maliuanag (HX Pro), announced that a dBTechnologies DVA T8 system would have powered the dancefloor of new Valkyrie Club. 

The sound reinforcement final design is consistant of 16 DVA T8 FOH + 4 S1518 N subwoofers with 4 DVAT4 + 4 DVA S30 as front fill. Moreover, another 16 T8 modules and 8 S30 N are going to be installed outdoor in the Pool club . 

“We choose DVA for several reasons” states Maliuanag “First of all Dva T8 system had both an appropriate SPL and design for Club Application. Then it is a lightweight yet very powerful system, very easy to install.” Last but not least, DVA excellent price-performance ratio: “dBTechnologies DVA T8 fitted our budget, and we could afford to add more T8 and S30 for the Outdoor Club”.
