Paul Panzer – in a large arena with dBTechnologies VIO.
The Comedian Paul Panzer is currently on a big tour in Germany, playing his program “Invasion der Verrückten” (“Invasion of Madmen”). On the 14th of January, he played in the Barclaycard Arena in front of thousands of enthusiastic Hamburg spectators. A VIO system, by dBTechnologies, ensured the perfect sound from the first row to the top one. Paul Panzer travels through Germany again: he plays almost daily, in a different city and enthusiastically enchants his audience. This also means very short set-up and dismantling times. Everything is usually built up in the morning, and directly packed again, already in the evening after the show.
The company Dreamlandton from Cologne, represented by Stefan Schäfer is responsible for the good sound. Paul Panzer has been working with Traumlandton for many years, using a system by dBTechnologies for quite some time. Paul Panzer and Stefan Schäfer were already on tour in 2014, with a DVA system, which was also used to record the last DVD. The excellent sound and the low weight of the
active speakers convinced him at the time.
The Tour-PA for the “Invasion der Verrückten" consists of DVA T8 and DVA S1518N. It was extended by a main PA with 2x 12 VIO L210 with S1518N subwoofer as well as 8x DVA T8 as Outfill, for the Barclaycard Arena (www.barclaycard-arena.de).
This combination perfectly fulfils the requirements for the show of Paul Panzer: a compact PA, at best level, able to admirably transfer the great emotions in the
voice of the comedian to the last row – including Paul Panzer's legendary language error! Regular musical recordings are simultaneously transmitted with incisive and dynamic sounds from the front row to the top level one.
The integrated simple VIO Rigging can ensure fast and easy assembly and disassembly. The PA is arranged in 4-packs ready to fly in Dolly and can be so easily transported.
And the “Invasion der Verrückten" is far from over. Besides many medium-sized halls, on the 4th of March Paul Panzer will be at LANXESSarena in
Cologne. The Main-PA 2x 16 VIO L210 with Sub S318 will provide the perfect sound in Germany’s largest event hall.
