A double evening for
VIO L208 which continues its adventure in the most prestigious theaters in Italy and this time stopping in
Bologna: for two nights the
Europauditorium Theatre, the largest acoustic theatre in Emilia-Romagna, has been the cradle for rivers of dreamy and passionate words which have looked back to the past shaping the present on a wave of sweet
jazz melodies and entering into the audience’s heart and mind, as it happens in the presence of the great timeless operas.
The beloved Paolo Conte brought to Bologna all the strength and elegance of fifty glorious years of career, confirming himself as one of the most representative artists of Italian music. In front of a 1,350 audience the double appointment of the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist took place recording an immediate sold-out.
A return to the scene with the refined and élite style that has always distinguished him, for a show that crosses the many national and international successes, passing from the famous “Messico e nuvole" to the single-preview of the long-awaited new album, "Lavavetri".
In a crowded Europauditorium Theatre, dBTechnologies has ensured an optimal public sound reinforcement thanks to the versatility of VIO L208, a system particularly adapted for theatrical locations considering both the aspect of the acoustic performance and the logistical and mechanical requirements that characterize touring in theatre.
The acoustic project was carefully considered on the structural peculiarities of the venue, which has two raised levels, a very large audience and an impressive stage developed in depth, that framing the performance space.

Claudio Viberti, head of the audio service and FOH engineer for the two live shows said: "The VIO system won me over. The top has an excellent frequency response that is well suited to theatrical spaces and auditoriums of this type, and the bass is well represented by the sub bass reflex with single 18" woofers. It was necessary to consider some features of the venue, thus Viberti continues, "We used the standard presets to reach the highest points of the room and I did not have to intervene on the system".
In conclusion, the logistical and mechanical aspects are also important elements, "VIO L208 combines good acoustic performance with all the advantages of an active system; less space occupied by trucks, faster assembly, etc. and this is no small detail when planning tours”, said Claudio Viberti.
