With a direct and spontaneous message, full of emotion, this is how the Italian artist presents himself to a crowded and carefully selected audience: a special evening thanks to the voice and the clear sound of the acoustic guitar. Thanks to his unmistakable voice and the desire to tell his story, Nek has been able to transform the soul of the historic center of Ferrara into an intimate and familiar dimension with a refined and involving live performance.

The PA that sounded Piazza Trento e Trieste was deployed by Suono e Immagine srl - a local company specializing in high profile public and private sounding - and involved the VIO L210 system and its subwoofer complement VIO S318 in a configuration of:

Main: 16 VIO L210 (8 per side) + 6 VIO S318 in cardioid configuration

Delay system positioned in the middle of the stalls consisting of: 6 VIO L208 per side + 2 VIO S118 per side
2 DVX DM15 TH for stage monitoring

Marco Monforte - FOH Engineer for Nek - commented, “I discovered this system thanks to Antonio Porcelli during Caparezza’s tour; I was intrigued and amazed, so I approached both the system and the brand. Here, I had the opportunity to listen to it and test it with guitar and voice and it confirmed what I expected: it put me in the best conditions to work. I can't wait to try it again with a band".

Ivan Franco Bottoni - Technical Manager of Suono e Immagine - also declared, "The location is certainly very evocative but it presented several difficulties from a logistical and also audio point of view, because it is a very large space, but narrow and long; on the other hand, it's the only space in the city center that allows hosting live events like this, in compliance with the regulations dictated by the health emergency. So it was the first time that we used our VIO system for live concerts in this space and personally I'm very satisfied with the result. We also received very good feedback from the organizers".

The initiative, which will unfold in the next appointments of the mini-tour, was born as encouragement and contribution for the restart of activities related to the world of music, a world to which Nek gives concrete support by donating the proceeds of the evenings to MUSIC INNOVATION HUB, a reality that offers support to all workers in the sector.
