In its new capacity of exclusive distributor for dBTechnologies in the US, EAW has hired Matthew Whitman as US Sales Engineer for the Italian brand. Whitman’s primary task in his new role will be to provide direct technical and sales support to the US rep network while working closely with the global dBTechnologies team.
“With a growing customer base in the US, it is imperative that dBTechnologies provides immediate in-region support for our reps and dealers” comments EAW’s US Sales Manager Michael Palmer. “In his new role, Matthew Whitman will support our sales efforts through education, design assistance, and technical sales support.” explains Palmer. “Matthew’s enthusiasm and passion for the brand is a great addition to our team, and his previous experience with dBTechnologies will be instrumental in strengthening our expanding VIO network. We’re proud to have him on board.”
A long-time player in the pro audio industry, Whitman has developed an in-depth technical knowledge of dBTechnologies pro-audio systems in recent years, having worked with the Italian manufacturer as a product specialist for the US since 2018.
