VIO L1610 for the Italian legend of ballet in Cervia, Italy.
On August 2021,
VIO L1610 powered the live shows "
Legend Venti Ventuno" and "
Carla Fracci Mon Amour”, dedicated to the divine Italian étoile. Both events were staged in
Cervia, Italy, as emotional tribute full of creative suggestions: music and dance was, in fact, the scene's focus in one of the favorite destinations of the Italian summer season. On the occasion of the
DID Summer Edition MiMa, the central Garibaldi Square hosted "
Carla Fracci Mon Amour", created by
Kledi Kadiu and
Silvia Frecchiani and conducted by
Pino Strabioli. An excellent gala evening in which the most famous dancers of the current scenario offered new interpretations and choreographies in homage to the recently disappeared star. To accompany the elegance of the performances, CM Orchestra Rhythms & Drums, conducted by Maestro Andrea Pollione, on stage with the CM founders
Claudio Mazzucchelli,
Fabio Chirico, and
Pietro Pizzi. The show's concept was creating an experiential path for the audience amplified by images, videos, digital performances, and lights managed live by
CM S.r.l. and
MG Service. As the official soundtrack of the story "
Carla Fracci Mon Amour", CM Orchestra with Foi Orchestra, with the participation of
Bagart Ballet Company, has then continued the cycle of performances in the following evening, starring "
Legend Venti Ventuno", an innovative story with multimedia direction in the name of music, dance, aerial disciplines and technology, a virtual journey through changing places, variable geometry, lights, and dynamic content.
The technical setup and the management of audio and lighting systems for both evenings was by MG Service with MusicLab Milano; the audio system entirely branded VIO Series included the latest VIO line array.
Marco Gervasio - the owner of MG Service - praised the new system of the VIO family, ”The choice of the system fell on the new VIO L1610 because of its superb audio quality, small size, and tremendous sound pressure. The audience, of large dimensions, was covered entirely in a homogeneous way, without annoying reflections, making the listening very pleasant. To underline, moreover, the ease of installation and the speed in the calibration of the system. The sound response was very balanced and linear. The end-fire configuration of the 12 S218 allowed to obtain the total cancellation of the sound in the area behind the subs, leaving the stage free of audio returns; this is a significant result considering the 120 mix channels linked to the condenser microphones".
The PA configuration consisted of: 24 VIO L1610 paired with 12 VIO S218 as Main and 8 VIO L208 as front fill.
This successful acoustic project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the pros involved: Marco Gervasio - FOH, Simone Bonetto - Stage Engineer, Davide Alebardi - Stage Manager, Federico Firmo - Head Backliner, Mattia Bono - Backliner, Stefano Pizzini - Backliner, Nicolò Damiani - Light Designer.
