VIO Day + Academy: dBTechnologies between demos, training, and strong attendance in Naples

A crucial team effort that brought to life an event capable of combining technology, listening, and atmosphere in one of Italy’s most fascinating venues.

On April 3rd, the Arena Flegrea in Naples was transformed into a true open-air sound lab for the dBTechnologies Demo Day, made possible thanks to the valuable collaboration and support of L’Altroservice, Arena Flegrea, and Soundlight Group. A crucial team effort that brought to life an event capable of combining technology, listening, and atmosphere in one of Italy’s most fascinating venues. Taking center stage were the VIO L1610 and VIO S218 systems, put to the test in a unique acoustic environment that enhanced every detail. This was not just a technical demo, but an immersive experience designed to let the sound speak for itself: pressure, detail, consistency, and pure sonic clarity immediately stood out, capturing the audience from the very first listening moment. The contribution of the Soundlight Group and L’Altroservice teams was essential in creating a setup designed to be experienced live, with no filters or compromises. A direct, hands-on approach that allowed professionals in attendance to evaluate the true performance of the VIO systems in real conditions. Confirming the strong interest generated by the initiative, on the third day Andrea Salvioli led a dedicated demo session attended by 45 industry professionals, once again achieving great engagement and success. The event once again highlighted dBTechnologies’ ability to create genuine moments of connection between technology and industry professionals, fostering direct interaction and real-world experience. Special thanks go to LAS, Arena Flegrea, and Soundlight Group for their valuable support in organizing the initiative, helping deliver a day of high technical and human value, driven by a shared passion for professional audio. Completing this intense series of events, in the days leading up to the Demo Day, Marco Cantalù, Head of Education, led the VIO Operator Academy, which sold out in just 48 hours, reaching full capacity with participants traveling even from Calabria. The Academy proved to be a highly valuable and engaging moment of sharing for everyone involved, with Marco acting as the perfect link across the entire project, standing out for his widely appreciated professionalism and effective, hands-on training approach.
