DVA S2585N Subwoofer, 18"+ 15", Cardiod

The integrated digipro®G2 digital power amps provide 2500W total output power.
The high-quality DSP filters signals and controls the speakers to deliver a remarkably authentic audio image and faithful transient response.

The housing is ready to fly with the optional SRK10 Rigging Kit is all it takes to put up flown cardioid sub arrays.

Cardioid- Design

Many systems lack low-frequency directivity and, as a result, are plagued by interference and annoying noise.
The S2825 N, in contrast, was engineered specifically for enhanced lowfrequency directivity. And it not only sounds great, it is also easy to handle and transport.

Delay
The delay indicates a difference in tempo, generally measured in ms (miliseconds).
It allows you to sincronize speakers, of the same system, stationed in different positions.
The delay may be used to create particular set ups on the subwoofer, thus initializing a controlled sound diffusion. Many speakers have a built-in delay device.

Digipro® G2
System of digital amplification engineered by dBTechnologies.
Based on the previous Digipro project, the newest G2 versions' efficiency has been improved by cutting down on consumption and heating.
The introduction of a 'new avant-garde' component, a better s/n relation and a lighter weight, confer a superior dynamism to the new Digipro G2 digital speakers.

Neodymium Transducers
Neodymium is a metal belonging to the family of the “rare earth”, a particular material which creates a powerfull magnetic field once charged.
This material, used in acoustic transducers, possesses a far superior magnetic power compared to the classical ferrite which allows its dimensions to be reduced, favouring its weight and space capacity.

PFC (Power Factor Corrector)
The Power Factor Corrector greatly improves the efficiency of the system. Performances of the amplifier are very stable and consistent, regardless of the quality of the mains. This also grants a worldwide compatibility of the power supply - from 90V to 265V 50/60Hz - and limits power consumption.

Preset System
The opportunity of modifying the character and equalization of a speaker is a very important prerogative in adapting a speaker to multiple functions.
The introduction of the Preset System enables to choose directly from the box the most adeguate equalization for the desired use, optimizing performances without the need of external processors.
The management of phase, limiter and x-over will be modified automatically depending on the chosen set-up, preserving the internal acoustic equipment.

RDNet
Digital net for bi-directional control of connected devices.
The acronym RDNet originates from the development, on behalf of RCF and dBTechnologies, of a universal network which allows adjustments in real time and supervision of all the connected systems, using cables based on ethernet cat 5 wires.
With the specific software and the interfaces control 2 and control 8, a complete command of the acoustic system will be possible allowing real time supervision on each electrical component of the various speakers.

RDNet allows you to

Monitor levels, limiters, and temperatures
Select system presets
Configure setups off-line
Mute units
Group modules and assigning group EQ, delay and phase
Test individual components
Automatically address system components
Tap into LAN and USB interfaces
Extend the network via wireless LAN access points.

X-over
The cross over (X-over) is the intersection point of different frequencies from different ranges.
In sound systems it delimitates the areas in which low, mid, and high frequencies work.
A cross over is also an electronic object, active or passive, which comands the division of the frequencies' areas.
In other words, it separates an incoming full range signal into two or more areas of frequency.
