DVA T8

DVA T8 is a 3-way module equipped with a 8” bass reflex neodymium woofer, one horn loaded 6.5” midrange with a 2” voice coil and phase plug device, and two 1”drivers with constant directivity horn. These components have been optimally arranged to obtain a uniform 100° by 15° coverage per module. DVA T8 features a Class D 700 W RMS Digipro G2 digital amplifier and is capable to reach up to 132 dB SPL.

The system is equipped with a RDNET port which allows the system to be controlled and monitored remotely in real-time through the use of dBTechnologies Network control software.

Thanks to a rotary on the module’s rear panel, it is possible to select one among 9 different preset options plus a personal setting which can be saved.

This way, users adapt the module’s frequency response to aiming distance and to coupling with other modules within the same array, thus optimizing the sound in a consistent and balanced way, without the use of any external processors.

The module’s electronics and components are housed in a sturdy polypropylene box, reinforced with an internal anti-vibration metal structure which drastically reduces any resonance, allowing the cabinet to achieve an excellent acoustic response.

The reinforced polypropylene box, the selected components and a state of the art amplifying technology come together to deliver an exceptional weight-performance ratio: in facts, each module of DVA T8 weights a mere 14,2 kg (31,3 lbs).

The unique feature of the DVA T series is the mechanical and acoustic compatibility between line array modules of the same family. This feature guarantees a great versatility in terms of both using and configuring the products.

Aurora NetThis product is fully-compatible with Aurora Net software

Digipro® G2System of digital amplification engineered by dBTechnologies. Based on the previous Digipro project, the newest G2 versions' efficiency has been improved by cutting down on consumption and heating. The introduction of a 'new avant-garde' component, a better s/n relation and a lighter weight, confer a superior dynamism to the new Digipro G2 digital speakers.

Neodymium TransducersNeodymium is a metal belonging to the family of the “rare earth”, a particular material which creates a powerful magnetic field once charged. This material, used in acoustic transducers, possesses a far superior magnetic power compared to the classical ferrite which allows its dimensions to be reduced, favoring its weight and space capacity.

PFC (Power Factor Corrector)The Power Factor Corrector greatly improves the efficiency of the system. Performances of the amplifier are very stable and consistent, regardless of the quality of the mains. This also grants a worldwide compatibility of the power supply - from 90V to 265V 50/60Hz - and limits power consumption.

Preset SystemThe opportunity of modifying the character and equalization of a speaker is a very important prerogative in adapting a speaker to multiple functions. The introduction of the Preset System enables to choose directly from the box the most adeguate equalization for the desired use, optimizing performances without the need of external processors. The management of phase, limiter and x-over will be modified automatically depending on the chosen set-up, preserving the internal acoustic equipment.

RDNetDigital net for bi-directional control of connected devices. The acronym RDNet originates from the development, on behalf of RCF and dBTechnologies, of a universal network which allows adjustments in real time and supervision of all the connected systems, using cables based on ethernet cat 5 wires. With the specific software and the interfaces control 2 and control 8, a complete command of the acoustic system will be possible allowing real time supervision on each electrical component of the various speakers. RDNet allows you to monitor levels, limiters, and temperatures, select system presets, configure setups off-line, Mute units, Group modules and assigning group EQ, delay and phase, test individual components, automatically address system components, tap into LAN and USB interfaces, extend the network via wireless LAN access points.

SMPSAn SMPS is an electronic power supply that uses high-frequency switching and control circuits to convert electrical power efficiently. It transforms input voltage (AC or DC) to a regulated output voltage with minimal energy loss. Commonly used for its high efficiency, small size, and lightweight design.
