Exceptional power and a unique acoustic design combine in order to deliver a vigorous yet pristine sound, successfully adaptable to both playback and live music applications.

Opera’s asymmetrical horn has been completely redesigned in order to obtain both an asymetrical vertical dispersion and a double horizontal dispersion, ensuring an optimized throw pattern.

The system is equipped with a powerful Class D 600 W amplifier featuring advanced DSP processing where FIR filters allow the systems to deliver a coherent audio performance, uniform and crystal-clear from every listening position.

TECHNOLOGIES

Asymmetrical HornThe dBTechnologies asymmetrical horn design delivers similar effective coverage for smaller applications. The high-frequency horn is narrower on top to bundle sound and throw it over greater distances. It flares out at the bottom to achieve a wider pattern of throw. This compensates for high frequency loss as sound travels further from the source) and distributes the signal more uniformly across all audience areas.

Linear Phase FIR FiltersA low-latency sound processing featuring Linear Phase FIR filters allows cabinets to deliver an extremely coherent audio performance, standing out for its intelligibility and clarity from every listening position. This is also achieved by making the phase response as linear as possible, avoiding any distortion.

Lightweight

Multifunctional HousingA multifunctional housing offers many placement options, for instance as a floor monitor, satellite speaker in combination with subwoofers or as a fullrange system on pole mounts.

Preset SystemThe opportunity of modifying the character and equalization of a speaker is a very important prerogative in adapting a speaker to multiple functions. The introduction of the Preset System enables to choose directly from the box the most adeguate equalization for the desired use, optimizing performances without the need of external processors. The management of phase, limiter and x-over will be modified automatically depending on the chosen set-up, preserving the internal acoustic equipment.
