Sky is the limit
Packed with our most up-to-date exclusive technologies, VIO S218F widens the possibilities for low frequency reproduction in any larger VIO sound reinforcement deployment.
Now you can extend the range of action of the distinctive VIO S218 subwoofer by flying an array of VIO S218F in the air.
Up to 14 cabinets can be flown with a single DRK-218F flybar.
The most demanding sound reinforcement application for touring requires extreme flexibility in order to accommodate the specific needs for every event in any venue worldwide.
VIO S218F is the perfect bottom-end addition to large VIO deployments, packing astounding sound performance and a ultra low frequency punch, extending down to 28Hz.
A cardioid preset button automatically process the sound of the backward sub in gradient inverted stack configurations, in order to reach maximum cancellation of the rear side.
You can easily fly VIO S218 in inverted orientations, according to the desired backward rejection. An easy cable run carved out will allow all the cables to run smoothly through the cabinets for a clean cable management.
As a default, VIO S218F is equipped with dBTechnologies RD-Net card, for real time remote control via Aurora Net software.
Furthermore, the preamplifier is ready for future upgrades with Audinate DanteTM AoIP protocol. To help users in this configuration, S218F comes with built-in technologies: Near Field Communication (NFC™) proximity sensors are used to determine the position of each box within an array. This technology, together with a hi-brightness LED bulb on the front of the enclosure, contributes to help the user to recognize, identify and match each box physical position on the remote control software Aurora Net.
The amp also allows users to run auto-test on electronics and transducers before and after use and a real time impedance control. This unique system ensure tour-grade reliability and remote control over your entire PA’s health.
