Description
Radiating from the majestic stage to the elegant red and gold balconies, an extraordinary concert took place, a triumph of shapes and images that spanned two centuries, painting the story of the mythical union of words and music. On February 19th, the Italian singer-songwriter Paolo Conte enchanted the audience with a one-night show at Italy's most prestigious theater. To sound the ambiance, the company ATS Service designed and implemented an acoustic project that involved systems from the VIO and VIO X series, with related complements; sound monitoring and management were operated via Aurora Net software.
24 VIO L208s in 12 modules per side
6 VIO S118s in end-fire configuration
2 VIO X310s were used as center fills
2 VIO X205-100s as front fills
7 VIO W15Ts operated stage monitoring.
Addressing the typical challenge posed by the environments that distinguish the Italian-style theater, the VIO X310 system completed the Main, providing coverage and power necessary for acoustic homogeneity down to the last order of seats in the gallery.
Claudio Viberti from ATS Service declared: "Teatro alla Scala was a technical challenge. The performance by Paolo Conte and his orchestra is characterized by very dynamic passages and details that managed to reach the listener's ears with excellent coverage. The VIO L208 proved to be smooth and defined over the entire range. The success was possible thanks to the work of all the technicians involved. I am delighted with the result."
