Gianluca Dalessandro has been appointed as dBTechnologies’ Business Development Manager.

In this new role, Mr Dalessandro will be tasked with leading Export Sales Team’s activities as well as supporting the setup and management of new distributors and dealers worldwide.

Dalessandro joined dBTechnologies in 2011 as Export Area Manager. Since 2014, he focused on Asian and African areas, developing some commercial strategies which conquered significant additions to the Asian Pacific distribution network.

 “When Giovanni Barbieri (dbTechnologies Worldwide Sales & Marketing Director, Ed.)  offered me this new position, I was more than happy and I immediately accepted” says Dalessandro. “Not only this is a great satisfaction, but a further challenge as well.  This company is a wonderful working place which combines a young, fresh and passionate team to a longtime expertise in Pro Audio Industry. Particularly,  I feel lucky for the opportunity to professionally  grow within an Export Sales Team which I appreciate so much” continues Dalessandro, which will keep on working side by side with Elio Caia, responsible for South American Markets and Flavio Malpighi, in charge for European Exports. “ I am looking forward to coordinate them in order to both  reinforcing our distribution network and introducing dBTechnologies audio solutions to new markets.”

Sales Director Giovanni Barbieri explains the process behind the new appointment: “dBTechnologies nearly doubled its worldwide distribution network in the last 4 years.  After such a dramatic growth, alongside with some recent appointments in key market places, it became clear that the company needed to strengthen sales operations.” Comments Barbieri. “CEO Arturo Vicari immediately agreed to support investments in HR, first of all an experienced account manager, able to support a growing sales team while pushing the company towards a further development.” The choice hasn’t been difficult, according to Barbieri: “Needless to say we didn’t have to look far, as Gianluca was perfect for this role, not only thanks to his deep knowledge of the industry, but also his flair for identifying new opportunities”.

The new appointment will be effective starting by January 1st 2016 and will be followed by new appointments within dBTechnologies international sales team.
