On the occasion of the ceremonial opening of the new Gotthard tunnel , Swiss Light Gmbh Altdorf , Switzerland , has been appointed to direct the sound of scheduled events .

The engineer in charge Adrian Weiss selected a dBTechnologies DVA system for a 800 m long  path at the side of the output from the binary tunnel in Erstfeld , Switzerland

The system , consisting of a total of 40 DVA 22 DVA T12 and T8 divided into 8 delay towers has voiced with balance a large area that welcomed in iprmo weekend last June about 80,000 visitors .

The sound has been produced with the technical support of dBTechnologies and official distributor for Switzerland MGM Audio AG .
