dBTechnologies is proud to be participating in the USITT Live Sound International Loudspeaker Demo this year in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After the much anticipated release of the VIO L208 at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California in January, dBTechnologies will be showcasing the VIO L208 and the accompanying VIO S118R sub at the Loudspeaker Demo.
“The LSI Loudspeaker Demo was a great event for us to participate in last year, so we’re excited to be going back,” says Colin Studybaker, US National Sales Manager for dBTechnologies. “It’s a must-hear experience for anyone looking to purchase loudspeakers for their venue. There is no better way to compare systems than hearing them all side-by-side in a real-world environment.”
After demonstrating the VIO L210 at the last LSI Loudspeaker Demo, the team from dBTechnologies will be taking the opportunity at USITT to exhibit the power of their newest VIO product, the VIO L208. A more compact sibling to the VIO L210, the L208 is a 2-way active line array system equipped with 2X8” neodymium woofers and 1X1.4” neodymium compression driver (2.5” voice coil). Thanks to the advanced sound processing of FIR filters and the digital optical isolation in the pre-amp module, VIO L208 performs clearly and perfectly with an interference-free input signal. Equipped with a 18” woofer (4” voice coil), the demonstration will also feature the S118R active bass reflex subwoofer which has been crafted to complete the low-end of the VIO line array systems.
Furthermore, dBTechnologies will also be presenting the Ingenia IG4T with Sub 18H during the smaller portable system feature of the Loudspeaker Demo.
“It’ll be a valuable experience for everyone there,” says Studybaker. “It isn’t often that you get to hear both large and small systems, all in one place, from all of these brands. We’re thrilled to be included and look forward to seeing everybody there.”
Sessions kick off on March 14th, followed by three full sessions per day from 11am to 4pm on the 15th and 16th. dBTechnologies will also be presenting in an individual session at 10:40am on March 15th.
