An exclusive PA for the fascinating melodies of Spandau Ballet in the prestigious location of Atlantico Live! in Rome.
On the evening of October 24th, suggestive and romantic lights have brightened the great Rome City and our VIO L212 has contributed to bring on stage the magic sound of the 80's. At the famous Atlantico Live!, took place the second Italian stage of Spandau Ballet’s Reunion Tour, the beloved British band forged by 30 years of success and undisputed leadership in new romantic pop genre. A return to Italy that was long awaited by many fans of the band, who enjoyed a show enhanced by news, previews and some of the most famous hits of the group, which are always capable to bring back the poetry and the dreamy dimension of one of the most beloved musical decades.
The acoustic project was designed to exploit the full potential and the mainly features of VIO L212, which is the active line array flagship in the pro audio touring technology solutions marked dBTechnologies, and it’s designed to ensure high sound intelligibility and total acoustic compatibility with other VIO systems. The complete PA, by the dBTechnologies product specialist team in collaboration with Amplificando Live s.r.l. service, consists of:
9 VIO L212 per side + 8 VIO L210 in front fill + 16 VIO S218 (divided into 8 clusters) in straight line with arc delay. During the performance, the system was controlled and managed in real time thanks to the Aurora Net software, marked dBTechnologies.
Atlantico Live! is a high valued and unique location in Italy, thanks to its ability to combine the rock style of a traditional concert space with the great functionality of a large and multi-purpose complex. With a total capacity of over 2,500 built on two different levels, Atlantico Live! is a very dynamic and versatile place, able to host a variety of events, happenings and live performances by many of the most famous artists on the national and international scenario, including: Francesco De Gregori, Steve Vai, Mika, Litfiba, Mumford and Sons, Limp Bizkit and Bob Dylan.
The presence of VIO L212 at the Atlantico Live! was an important opportunity to find new confirmation of our system’s performance and quality.
