A new success for the
VIO L210 system in a location of excellence: the most famous British circuit in the world, whose asphalt continues to be a real red carpet for many super champions of the motor world. From
August 17 to August 19 2018, the exciting annual appointment of the
FIA World Endurance Championship took place at the
Silverstone Circuit. An event of great importance and turnout that has involved
dbTechnologies in the pit lane’s acoustic project near the race track.
Our aim was to ensure maximum performance and optimal sound quality for the main venue of the International Pit Straight, dedicated to shows, interviews and exhibitions, which followed one another during the two sports days.
The main PA installation, by Stage Right Productions service, consisted of:
12 VIO L210 + 3 VIO S318 + 2 VIO S118.
The system was configured in ground stack mode, reconfirming the extreme adaptability of the VIO series within different layouts.
Moreover, an original and creative musical show was staged in the wide open space along the pit lane: 16 percussionists performed live musicusing special drums made from motor oil containers. In this context, due to the particular dynamic nature of the show, it was necessary to equip every musician with a wireless in-ear-monitor system to which a microphone was associated for each drum, also in wireless mode.
With enthusiastic reactions and full satisfaction, the Service Manager underlined the very high quality of the sound and the great acoustic coverage of the VIO L210 system, praising also the power output in relation to the configuration made with only four stacks.
The FIA World Endurance Championship was a prestigious opportunity to highlight the special features of the VIO L210: a highly efficient pro-audio product, capable of delivering accurate performances thanks to the features and qualities that distinguish the whole VIO series, entirely designed by dBTechnologies.
