The
Grand Auditorium of the Municipal Theater from the city of
Guarda, underwent a major upgrade of its sound system, counting on
Garrett Audiovisuais for the design, installation and configuration of the system.
The bet was placed on dBTechnologies' VIO line-array system, which is considered particularly suited to theatrical environment, thanks to a discreet design and the stunning crystal clear acoustic reproduction.
The grand auditorium is equipped with a removable orchestra pit, and it has the capacity to receive large companies of theater, dance, music or even opera, with its 626 seats divided between central audience, sides, orchestra pit and balcony. It is also able to host national and international congresses and other events.
The complete PA configuration involves:
14 VIO L208 tops and 6 VIO S118 subs flying on the auditorium stage.
For the front fill 5 VIO X205-100 loudspeaker systems were also used as complement of the reinforcement.
"VIO systems from the Italian dBTechnologies are distinguished by their sound power and intelligibility in a compact structure, ideal for any space and adaptable to any type of application, be it rock music, jazz, singing or simply for voice in lectures and conferences", commented the Garrett Audiovisuais Team.
