"My show with your VIO System in Stupinigi was for me one of my best sounding shows on this leg of the Sting 2023 European tour. The VIO system required the absolute minimum of manipulation with my front end equipment to achieve exactly what I was looking for and just sounded great for our show."
Howard Page [FOH for Sting]

"I had a great show in Stupinigi, the PA was solid and delivered the full spectrum of sound from bottom to top as I needed. After doing some minor shading of the PA through my graphic eq, I was able to get the solid, tight feel that I look for when mixing a Black Eyed Peas show."

Description

The VIO technology attends the immense Sonic Park in Stupinigi, Turin, equipped with a massive audio system to support the coming and going of big music stars.
The staggering lineup is starting again; this year, it is dense, ambitious, and lofty. ATS Service has designed, configured, and implemented a decisive system capable of delivering unified, homogeneous sound coverage with bold, nuanced timbres; to succeed in the task, the team has relied on the two most advanced top modules of the VIO Series.
With VIOL212 and VIO L1610, the PA is in display in the set-up of:
Main: 32 L212s + 4 L1610s in downfill (16 and 2 per side)
Outfills: 16 L1610s (8+8)
Subwoofers: 28 VIO S218s in arc array and gradient stack configuration
Front fills: 12 VIO L208s

Howard Page, FOH for Sting, declared, "My show with your VIO System in Stupinigi was for me one of my best sounding shows on this leg of the Sting 2023 European tour. The VIO system required the absolute minimum of manipulation with my front end equipment to achieve exactly what I was looking for and just sounded great for our show."
Then John A. Baker, FOH for Black Eyed Peas, said a lot about the experience with VIO systems, "Since I had previously mixed on a db technologies PA, I already had high expectations as I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of the line array the first time I used it a few years ago. I had a great show in Stupinigi; the PA was solid and delivered the full spectrum of sound from bottom to top, as I needed. After doing some minor shading of the PA through my graphic eq, I was able to get the solid, tight feel that I look for when mixing a Black Eyed Peas show. Overall coverage and presence was excellent without overpowering the listener. The sub-frequency reproduction was solid and wide but also tight; what I mean is it rounded out the PA with great horizontal coverage and provided the required low-end punch to my mix while meshing seamlessly into the rest of the frequency range reproduced from the high and mid transducers in the line array.
[About the series' positive features] Transparency, the VIO Series is very dynamic without overwhelming the listener even at higher than normal SPL.
