Las Vegas, NV — June 17, 2026 — dBTechnologies is pleased to announce that the VIO L1608 has been named Best Live Events Audio Product in the 2026 Best of InfoComm Awards, presented by rAVe [PUBS].

Selected as one of the standout new products at InfoComm 2026, VIO L1608 represents a significant engineering achievement in compact professional sound reinforcement. The award recognizes the system’s unique position in the live events market: deceptively compact dual-8” line array module built around the acoustic architecture, control platform, and operational flexibility typically expected from larger-format touring systems.

Introduced as the newest member of the VIO family, VIO L1608 brings dBTechnologies’ 3-way line array design philosophy into a more compact and highly deployable format. Although similar in size to many conventional 2-way compact arrays, the L1608 is fundamentally a true 3-way active design, combining dual 8-inch neodymium low-frequency drivers with a coaxial MF-HF assembly powered by a 1600 W RMS Class-D amplifier platform. The result is exceptional output, headroom, intelligibility, and tonal consistency from a reduced enclosure volume.

For production companies, rental providers, AV integrators, and live event professionals, VIO L1608 offers a powerful balance of size, scalability, and system control. Its integrated DSP with advanced FIR filtering, and for the first time— the award-winning ‘A2Net’ audio protocol as a standard, Aurora Net software control, optional Dante compatibility, NFC system access, among many other features— provides a complete professional platform for demanding touring, corporate, worship, performing arts, festival, and installed live event applications.
