Following extensive refurbishment, the Kathrin-Türks-Halle in Dinslaken (Germany) has been shining in new splendour since autumn 2021. A key element of the modernisation was the installation of a state-of-the-art sound system from dBTechnologies, equipping the venue with first-class audio performance for a wide range of events.

With flexible capacity offering up to 600 seats in fully seated arrangements and up to 1,100 standing, the venue allows for highly adaptable use of space. A movable partition wall enables the hall to be divided into two separate areas, supporting multifunctional use. The renovation has created ideal conditions for conferences and meetings with up to 600 guests, as well as corporate events of varying scales. Trade fairs, exhibitions, and entertainment productions also benefit from a spectacular setting. To meet the high demands in terms of audio, the decision was made in favour of a powerful VIO system by dBTechnologies, delivering outstanding sound quality and even coverage throughout the space.

The installation includes the following components:
6 VIO L208 line array loudspeakers (left and right of the stage) for precise and powerful audio reproduction
3 VIO X206 as front fills
1 VIO X206 with wave guide as a centre speaker
2 VIO X206 with wave guide as delay speakers to ensure optimal coverage in the rear sections of the hall
3 VIO S118R in cardioid configuration, positioned directly beneath the stage
