Every edition of Locus Festival brings together a programme where musical languages, artistic visions and live productions converge within one of Italy's most distinctive cultural events. From international rock icons to contemporary jazz, electronic music and singer-songwriters, the festival continues to celebrate diversity through performances that demand the highest standards of sound reinforcement.

To support such a broad artistic spectrum, Bass Culture once again relied on the dBTechnologies VIO platform, providing scalable system designs tailored to the specific technical requirements of each production throughout the festival.

For Marilyn Manson's performance, one of the festival's most technically demanding shows, the deployed configuration featured 32 VIO L212 as the main left-right system, providing long-throw coverage and exceptional intelligibility throughout the audience area. Low-frequency reinforcement relied on 28 VIO S218 subwoofers arranged in a mixed arc and gradient configuration, delivering powerful yet tightly controlled bass response while minimising energy on stage. Audience coverage was completed by 12 VIO L208 frontfills and 12 VIO L1610 flown outfills, ensuring tonal consistency and seamless coverage from the front rows to the outer listening areas.

The VIO platform demonstrates the flexibility required by a programme spanning multiple genres and production styles. For Marilyn Manson's performance in particular, the system delivered the authority, precision and control needed to reproduce the full impact of the show while preserving every detail of its sonic identity.
