As the sun slips behind the trees of Parco delle Caserme Rosse, Sequoie Music Park awakens. Here, music blends with nature, light filters through the canopy, and thousands of people gather beneath the summer sky to share something that feels larger than a concert. It is a place where sound becomes atmosphere and every performance becomes part of a collective memory.
The 2026 edition captured this spirit once again, bringing together artists such as Caparezza, Interpol, IDLES, Litfiba, Belle and Sebastian, Subsonica, Of Monsters and Men and many more. Different languages, different sounds, one common thread: the ability to turn a night in Bologna into something unforgettable.
To support this experience, the audio system was designed to deliver impact, depth and consistency across the entire venue. The main PA featured 24 VIO L212 modules, configured in two hangs of 12 elements per side, complemented by 4 VIO L1610 down-fills and flown at 9.5 metres. Low-frequency reinforcement was handled by 18 VIO S218 subwoofers arranged in a central electronically controlled arc with an 80° coverage pattern, providing powerful yet controlled low-end energy. Front coverage was ensured by 9 VIO L1610 units positioned above the sub array, while 8 additional VIO L1610 systems, flown as out-fills, extended coverage to the outer audience areas.
On stage, artists relied on a monitoring system comprising 10 VIO W15T and 4 VIO W12T stage monitors, supported by 4 FIFTY LINE side-fills and dedicated drum-fill systems featuring VIO S118R and VIO C15 units.
The audio infrastructure comprised a total of 85 dBTechnologies systems, including 63 PA elements and 22 stage monitoring systems, delivering consistent coverage across the audience area and comprehensive monitoring support for artists and production crews.
The result was a soundscape as natural as the environment surrounding it: powerful without being overwhelming, detailed without losing energy. From the first notes at sunset to the final encore beneath the stars, the VIO system carried every performance through the trees, transforming music into a shared experience suspended somewhere between festival, landscape and dream.
