dBTechnologies is celebrating a remarkable three-award milestone for the VIO L1608 and its integrated A2Net technology following InfoComm 2026.

Las Vegas, NV — June 19, 2026 —The VIO L1608 has officially been named a 2026 Mix Best of Show Award winner, adding a second major industry honor for the compact 3-way line array at InfoComm 2026. The award follows its selection as Best Live Events Audio Product in the 2026 Best of InfoComm Awards presented by rAVe [PUBS].

Together with the 2025 Mix Best of Show Award presented to dBTechnologies’ A2Net digital audio and control protocol—now factory-installed as standard in every VIO L1608—the three honors represent a significant hat trick for the VIO platform and the technologies behind its newest loudspeaker system.

Selected among numerous products submitted across Future B2B’s professional AV publications, the VIO L1608 was evaluated on site by expert judges before being named among the official 2026 Mix Best of Show winners. It joins a select group of products from Allen & Heath, Blackmagic Design, Clear-Com, DiGiCo, Eastern Acoustic Works, L-Acoustics, Shure, Zaxcom, and others recognized at this year’s show.

The newest member of the VIO family, VIO L1608 brings dBTechnologies’ 3-way line array architecture into a remarkably compact format. Although comparable in size to many conventional 2-way compact arrays, the L1608 is a true 3-way active design, combining dual 8-inch neodymium low-frequency drivers with a high-fidelity coaxial MF-HF assembly that delivers powerful acoustic coherence and pristine detail typically found in premium line-array elements. Powered by a 1600 W RMS Class-D amplifier, the result is dramatic output, substantial headroom, consistent coverage, and refined tonal performance from a deceptively compact enclosure.

For production companies, rental providers, AV integrators, and live event professionals, VIO L1608 offers a powerful balance of size, scalability, and system control. Its integrated DSP with advanced FIR filtering, Aurora Net software control, optional Dante compatibility, NFC-assisted system access, integrated inclinometer, opto-isolated preamps, and advanced 3-point rigging system create a complete professional platform for touring, corporate, worship, performing arts, festival, and installed live event applications.

Central to that platform is A2Net, dBTechnologies’ proprietary high-resolution digital audio and control protocol. After earning the Mix Best of Show Award at InfoComm 2025, A2Net became standard onboard technology for the VIO L1608—the first VIO loudspeaker enclosure to ship from the factory with A2Net built in and ready for plug-and-play operation.

A2Net carries high-resolution digital audio together over a single cable, providing native digital audio distribution without requiring complex third-party network infrastructure or advanced IT knowledge. The protocol is backwards compatible with existing RDNet-equipped systems, while compatible VIO loudspeakers can be upgraded through optional A2Net interface cards. A2Net is also planned as a standard technology for future VIO product development
