dBTechnologies and Senia Music host VIO L1608 Demo Day in Bucharest

dBTechnologies joined Romanian distributor Senia Music for a dedicated Demo Day at Arenele Romane in Bucharest.

On Thursday, September 24, dBTechnologies joined Romanian distributor Senia Music for a dedicated Demo Day at Arenele Romane in Bucharest, bringing together around 40 professionals from the local audio industry for an afternoon of listening and technical exchange.

Located in Carol Park, Arenele Romane provided a particularly relevant setting for the session. Built in 1906 for the General Exhibition of Romania, the historic amphitheatre has evolved into one of Bucharest’s established live music venues, regularly hosting concerts, festivals and cultural events. Its scale and live-oriented environment offered guests the opportunity to listen to the systems in conditions closer to their intended field of application.

At the centre of the Demo Day was VIO L1608, dBTechnologies’ compact 3-way active line array system, presented to the Romanian market through dedicated listening sessions and technical demonstrations. Representing dBTechnologies at the event were Marco Giorgi from the European Sales Department and Application Engineer Andrea Salvioli, who joined the Senia Music team in guiding attendees through the systems, their design, features and potential applications.

The session also featured IG5TR, offering a different system approach within the dBTechnologies portfolio. Both solutions were demonstrated in combination with VIO S218 subwoofers, giving participants the opportunity to experience different configurations and evaluate their behaviour within the same venue.

The configurations of the two sound systems were:

16 VIO L1608 (8 per side) + 8 VIO S218

4 IG5TR (2 per side) + 4 VIO S218

Beyond the listening sessions, the Demo Day created space for direct discussion with local professionals, combining system demonstrations with technical insight and an exchange around the requirements of today’s touring and live sound applications.
