Tec Audio invests in VIO L1610 and expands its dBTechnologies rental inventory

Dutch event technology company Tec Audio is expanding its dBTechnologies inventory with an investment in 24 VIO L1610 line array modules. The new system marks the next step in the long-standing relationship between Tec Audio and dBTechnologies and further strengthens the company’s rental stock for future productions.

Tec Audio has been working with dBTechnologies for many years and has previously relied, among other systems, on VIO L210. With the addition of VIO L1610, the company is now taking the next step in the development of its loudspeaker inventory. The 24 new line array modules complement an extensive and highly flexible range of existing dBTechnologies systems.

“We have had very good experiences with VIO L210 over the years, so for us it was clear that we wanted to stay with dBTechnologies when taking the next step,” says Ruud of Tec Audio. “With VIO L1610, we can use our rental stock even more flexibly and also cover larger productions. At the same time, the system fits very well with the equipment we already have in our inventory. We want to continue growing in the coming years and see dBTechnologies as a long-term partner in that development.” Tec Audio’s current dBTechnologies inventory includes 24 VIO L1610, 20 VIO S218 and 10 VIO S118R subwoofers, as well as four VIO X315, eight VIO W15, four VIO X12, six VIO X206 and four VIO X205.

The combination of these systems allows Tec Audio to configure different setups depending on the size and requirements of each production – from compact sound reinforcement solutions to larger VIO line array systems.

With its investment in VIO L1610, Tec Audio is further expanding its collaboration with dBTechnologies while creating an even more flexible rental inventory for a wide range of future applications.
