Wilson Tan joins dBTechnologies as APAC Application Engineer

The appointment strengthens the company’s team, further consolidating support, training, and collaboration with professionals throughout the APAC markets.

dBTechnologies welcomes Wilson Tan to the APAC team as Application Engineer, further strengthening a team that continues to evolve alongside the brand’s growing and increasingly established presence across the region.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Wilson brings a strong technical background in professional audio, with extensive expertise in installation, system design and integration. His technical perspective is complemented by a close connection to the world of music and a distinctive sensitivity towards it – an approach that allows him to see music not simply as one of the subjects of his work, but as a shared language, accessible to everyone who speaks and listens to it.

In his new role, Wilson will work across all APAC countries in which dBTechnologies operates, providing application support to distributors, partners and audio professionals, while contributing to training, demonstrations and educational activities throughout the region.

Wilson already brings a solid familiarity with dBTechnologies and its product portfolio. Alongside his established background in installation, his new role will also give him the opportunity to further develop his expertise in touring and live applications, with a particular focus on the VIO Series, broadening his experience across the dBTechnologies portfolio.

Wilson’s appointment is a very welcome addition, further expanding the APAC team and giving new resources to provide the market with even greater responsiveness, agility and dedicated support. From system design and configuration to application support, training and educational initiatives, the objective is to further consolidate the assistance provided to distributors, partners and users, while fostering a closer and more direct relationship between the brand and the professionals working across the region’s different markets.
