INGENIA series embodies a longtime experience in acoustics, mechanics, power electronics and DSP programming, combined with talent and intuition in order to create an unprecedented active speaker: compact, modular, flyable, user-friendly and incredibly smart.
The Ingenia IG5TR loudspeaker elevates the sound experience, expanding the possibilities for live applications and installations. Thanks to advanced technology, an optimized design, and high dynamic range sound performance, the IG5TR offers unparalleled flexibility, typical of dBTechnologies' column series, for powerful, impactful, and precise performances.

Advanced technology
The IG5TR system is a 2-way Quad-amplified system equipped with advanced beam steering and beamforming technologies, allowing precise control over directivity. The innovative AWG [Asymmetric Waveguide] optimizes vertical coverage across the entire frequency spectrum (930 Hz - 20 kHz), reducing internal turbulence and improving sound distribution to ensure clarity and precision. The asymmetrical vertical dispersion focuses on the lower half (+20° in the upper part and 55° in the lower part), minimizing comb filtering when configuring a headstack of two IG5TR tops.

Directivity and flexibility
The horn with a vertical angle of +20° / -55° increases directivity, allowing optimal sound control, while the possibility of rotation in +90/0/-90 steps ensures total versatility in any scenario. The advanced directivity control allows the sound beam to be shaped and directed along the vertical axis with 7 tilt steps (from -10° to +10°) both in standalone and coupled modes. Two vertical beamforming steps are available only in headstack mode: Beamforming: The sound beam is widened or narrowed along the vertical axis, only in headstack mode, with narrow or wide steps (default: narrow). Beamsteering: The beam moves along the vertical axis with 7 adjustable steps (10° / 5° / 2.5° / 0° / -2.5° / -5° / -10°), both in headstack and standalone modes. High-Efficiency Amplification The IG5TR is equipped with a Class-D 4-channel amplifier, 400W per channel, capable of delivering 1600W RMS. This module is designed to optimize output power, adapting perfectly to the electroacoustic chain, and ensuring controlled, dynamic transients.

Smart control and connectivity
The integrated DSP, supported by a high-brightness OLED display, provides precise real-time monitoring. RDNet connectivity allows full remote control, while the 24-bit/96 kHz AD/DA converters (the first Ingenia at 96 kHz) ensure impeccable audio quality. Firmware updates are simple via USB-C or Aurora Net. The SPD (Speaker Position Detection) technology, based on infrared, allows the speakers to automatically communicate and synchronize when paired. The OLED display and meters are updated in real-time, thanks to the onboard accelerometer, automatically adjusting to the position of the speakers.

Durable, versatile, modular design
The DRK-IG5 configurable flybar is reversible, easily adapting to extreme tilts (both positive and negative). Additionally, the adjustable Ground Stack Accessory (GSA-IG5) ensures perfect alignment with any subwoofer. Fly-scaff or C-clamp can be mounted on the flybar, adding further versatility. The IG5TR is equipped with a raincover, ensuring excellent performance even in the most challenging conditions.

Opto-isolated preamp
The floating audio input design grants a digital optical isolation between earth ground from the mains and the audio ground flowing into the Preamplifier board.
This galvanic isolation greatly improves resistance to interferences and any unwanted buzzing and noises.

PFC (Power Factor Corrector)
The Power Factor Corrector greatly improves the efficiency of the system. Performances of the amplifier are very stable and consistent, regardless of the quality of the mains. This also grants a worldwide compatibility of the power supply - from 90V to 265V 50/60Hz - and limits power consumption.

RDNet
Digital net for bi-directional control of connected devices.
The acronym RDNet originates from the development, on behalf of RCF and dBTechnologies, of a universal network which allows adjustments in real time and supervision of all the connected systems, using cables based on ethernet cat 5 wires.
With the specific software and the interfaces control 2 and control 8, a complete command of the acoustic system will be possible allowing real time supervision on each electrical component of the various speakers.

RDNet allows you to
:
Monitor levels, limiters, and temperatures
Select system presets
Configure setups off-line
Mute units
Group modules and assigning group EQ, delay and phase
Test individual components
Automatically address system components
Tap into LAN and USB interfaces
Extend the network via wireless LAN access points.
