Carnival de El Salvador

Massive sound provided by an articulate PA served up to 100,000 people who attended the biggest popular fiesta in El Salvador with performances by the renowned band Oro Solido and artist Zacarias Ferreira. The event was an unprecedented success and was created under the sponsorship of Alcaldia de San Miguel to celebrate local festivities with traditional music and dance. The technical team of La Joya Producciones, in collaboration with sound engineer Layo Jacobo, chose VIO Series systems for a sound set-up that would provide clear yet consistent sound coverage; the team worked on an overall system consisting of:

Main: 40 VIO L212 (20 modules per side)
Frontfill: 4 VIO L212s
Outfill: 9 DVA T12s per side
Sidefill: 4 DVA S30Ns and 6 DVA T12s (3T12 and 2S30N per side)
36 sub units provided the low frequencies:
18 VIO S218s in cardioid configuration under the stage
6 VIO S318s in cardioid front fills
12 S30Ns in cardioid on the sides
