Over the past few years, the Welcome To My Garden Festival has become a highlight on Germany’s electronic music calendar. With its unique concept combining music, style and community, the festival attracts thousands of visitors each year who come to enjoy its distinctive atmosphere of sound, light and shared experience. To ensure the musical journey sounded as good as it looked, the organisers once again relied on an extensive sound reinforcement system from dBTechnologies. The event technology service provider DLS-Showtechnik, led by Dominik Senz, has been responsible for the festival’s production since its debut in 2019, and handled the technical realisation again this year.
Crystal-clear sound on the Main Stage
The festival’s main stage — its beating heart — was equipped with 16× VIO 1610 line array loudspeakers, delivering even sound distribution and impressive power. They were complemented by 10× S218 subwoofers positioned in front of the stage to provide deep, controlled bass. For the front rows, Senz’s team deployed 4× VIO L208 as nearfills to ensure perfect coverage close to the stage. The combination of precise high frequencies and punchy low-end performance made the top DJs’ sets an unforgettable experience.
For DJ monitoring, the main stage featured 2× VIO W15T monitors placed on S118R subwoofers — a setup that impressed the artists with its clarity, dynamic response and directness.
Hidden Forest Stage – immersive sound in the green
Another festival hotspot was the Hidden Forest Stage, nestled in a natural woodland setting that created an intimate and atmospheric environment. Here, the system comprised 16× L208 units as the main line array and 8× S218 subwoofers configured in end-fire mode. These were supported by 2× X310 speakers used as delay lines (flown in truss), ensuring consistent sound coverage throughout the area.
Once again, the organisers relied on 2× VIO W15T monitors with S118R subs for DJ monitoring, allowing artists to experience their sets with pinpoint accuracy — even during high-energy, bass-heavy night-time performances.
