In the sun-drenched heart of Puglia, where music intertwines with heritage and landscape, Locus Festival 2025 by Bass Culture returns with a new edition shaped by contrast and continuity. The festival spans towns, masserie, and coastal venues—an open invitation to discover sound as experience, encounter, and exploration. This year’s lineup features some of the most influential names in contemporary music. Starting from Duran Duran's brilliant show, the evenings will range from the unmistakable funk legacy of Nile Rodgers & Chic to the poetic intensity of Morrissey, from Mogwai’s cinematic post-rock layers to the refined minimalism of Benjamin Clementine, every performance carries its own weight and character. On the Italian side, artists such as Afterhours, Baustelle, Brunori Sas, and Diodato enrich the narrative with distinctive voices rooted in songwriting and experimentation.
To support such a richly textured program across varied venues, the audio infrastructure relies on a refined deployment of the VIO Series. The main system is built around VIO L212 line arrays, chosen for their ability to project sound with clarity and authority across both open spaces and architectural contexts. For low-frequency support, VIO S218 subwoofers in flyable configuration ensure deep, controlled bass response while preserving line-of-sight and visual harmony, particularly valuable in heritage sites and wide stages. Completing the setup, VIO L1610 modules serve as frontfills, enhancing definition and proximity without compromising transparency.
The result is a seamless integration between music and space, where technology elevates the emotional dimension of every live moment. The sound design, tailored to each location, reflects the same care that defines the festival’s artistic choices.
Locus Festival 2025 continues to evolve as one of Italy’s most forward-thinking cultural experience, anchored in place, yet always looking upward.
