Avec la nouvelle série OPERA, dBTechnologies réussit encore une fois à combiner le DSP le plus avancé, le design essentiel et la simplicité d'utilisation dans un système audio inégalé dans sa catégorie. La combinaison de la puissance, du design acoustique et du traitement numérique du signal a créé un système capable de délivrer un son vigoureux et précis, adapté tant aux applications playback que live. Le pavillon asymétrique caractéristique des versions précédentes de la série a été repensée pour obtenir une dispersion du son asymétrique sur l'axe vertical et très large sur l'axe horizontal. La série complète contient un amplificateur numérique de classe D de 600 W. Le traitement du signal avec des filtres FIR permet d'obtenir des performances audio extrêmement cohérentes et uniformes à chaque position d'écoute.

Asymmetrical HornThe dBTechnologies asymmetrical horn design delivers similar effective coverage for smaller applications. The high-frequency horn is narrower on top to bundle sound and throw it over greater distances. It flares out at the bottom to achieve a wider pattern of throw. This compensates for high frequency loss as sound travels further from the source) and distributes the signal more uniformly across all audience areas.
Linear Phase FIR FiltersA low-latency sound processing featuring Linear Phase FIR filters allows cabinets to deliver an extremely coherent audio performance, standing out for its intelligibility and clarity from every listening position. This is also achieved by making the phase response as linear as possible, avoiding any distortion.

Multifunctional HousingA multifunctional housing offers many placement options, for instance as a floor monitor, satellite speaker in combination with subwoofers or as a fullrange system on pole mounts.
Preset SystemThe opportunity of modifying the character and equalization of a speaker is a very important prerogative in adapting a speaker to multiple functions. The introduction of the Preset System enables to choose directly from the box the most adeguate equalization for the desired use, optimizing performances without the need of external processors. The management of phase, limiter and x-over will be modified automatically depending on the chosen set-up, preserving the internal acoustic equipment.
