"Having supreme pattern control we managed to cover the whole area and avoid rejections from the castle opposite the stage. All the musicians were surprised that the PA was on, the stage was quiet. Everything that was thrown to the PA was performed effortlessly with highest quality. Even the smallest details in the music were heard thanks to the VIO system”.

Lehar Lepler [Sound Engineer of Maivel Sound and Light]

VIO L212 sounded in outdoor mode to celebrate an important anniversary of art and architecture in Tallinn, Estonia.

16 VIO L212 + 6 VIO S218 subs in cardioid configuration
12 VIO L208 (6 per side) as out fill
2 Opera 10 used as front fill

This was the main PA that made the whole set up phase easy and successfully supported the event Kadriorg 302 - "In Light and Shadow", staged at the big park of Kadriog Castle. The configuration was designed, set up, and managed by Maivel Sound & Light - a rental company specialised in high-profile soundproofing and expert in managing VIO Series systems.
Lehar Lepler of Maivel spoke about the event and particular tech challenges, "It was a huge storm that day with winds up to 20 m/s and we had to cover 35 x 40 m of audience with highest quality of sound. The VIO 212 proved to be worthy. Having supreme pattern control we managed to cover the whole area and avoid rejections from the castle opposite the stage. There was so little noise on the stage, all the musicians were surprised that the PA was on, the stage was quiet. From baroque to hard rock, everything that was thrown to the PA was performed effortlessly with highest quality. Even the smallest details in the music were heard thanks to the VIO system”.

The musical offer of the event was various and attractive: the most famous classical and rock pieces found a great scenic ally in classical and contemporary dance thanks to Utopia Conceptual, a visual theatre organization capable of telling stories through the fusion of several disciplines. It was a great party aiming to celebrate 302 years since the foundation of Kadriorg complex. Today as a museum of national importance, Kadriorg Castle and Park Ensemble was designed in 1718 by the Italian architect Nicola Michetti on behalf and advice of Peter I, Tsar of Russia.
