Bad Harzburg Racecourse (Germany), operated by the Harzburger Rennverein e.V., boasts a long and successful history. Horse races have been held on the grounds since 1880. Following the complete refurbishment of the main grandstand in 2015, event technology service provider ceventec has now upgraded the grandstand’s sound system. The new installation will be put to full use during the highlight of the annual calendar: the Bad Harzburg Gallop Racing Week, starting on 19 July 2025.
For the audio system upgrade, Karsten Fuchs and his team opted for the passive IS Series from dBTechnologies, explicitly designed for fixed installations. The ceventec team installed several IS210-WP and IS26T-WP loudspeakers in the roof structure of the main grandstand.
Karsten Fuchs, owner of ceventec, comments on the installation:

The fixed installation was complemented by additional loudspeakers from the dBTechnologies product range, including IS210-WP, IS6T, IG3T, VIO X310 and VIO X205.
