VIO L212 meets MediTa Festival 2020 for the first time and supports Amii Stewart and Achille Lauro’s live performance with Orchestra della Magna Grecia. On September 24 and 26, one of the most exciting projects of musical contamination was staged in Taranto and when symphonic and contemporary music come together, the magic of a new language is born.
Provinciali service, a highly specialised Company in soundproofing of high-profile events, as the responsible in charge of design and acoustic supply made a careful selection to identify the acoustic technology in line with the needs of an ambitious and prestigious event. The owner Pierluigi Provinciali - Pierluigi Provinciali - explained the choice of entrusting the sound of MediTA 2020 to the large line array VIO Series, "The choice of VIO L212 as the main sound reinforcement system proved to be successful both for the sound performance of the orchestra and for the simplicity of the set up operations; the MediTA Festival is a leading event during summer season, in particular this year it has represented a moment of rebirth for live music activities".
The first evening paid homage to Maestro Ennio Morricone with "Dear Ennio!" bringing together on stage the Orchestra della Magna Grecia conducted by Maestro Roberto Molinelli and the unique and exciting Amii Stewart’s disco-pop voice. Alongside the Orchestra conducted by Maestro Piero Romano, the eclectic Achille Lauro was the undisputed protagonist on September 26th: with an unmistakable identity, an iconic personality generating connections between music, fashion, and entertainment, Lauro was able to capture an irresistible synthesis between classicism and modernity.
