"Versatility is one of the system’s strong points: the ability to easily modify the acoustics based on the environment and the type of event. The combination of high-level acoustic performance and elegant, discreet design allows the system to blend naturally into the space, without ever clashing with the environment, but rather harmonizing with it."
Alessandro Macrì [Site coordinator]

Description

Since 2017, Lokura has represented fusion cuisine that can accompany both day and night in one of Bologna's most charming residential neighborhoods. With obsessive attention to detail and color schemes, Lokura offers a refined and contemporary fusion cuisine, able to evolve with the latest and most interesting trends. In a jungle-like atmosphere, always ready for change, Fabio Pagano has transformed the space from a restaurant into a venue, reinventing Friday nights: a vision that came to life three years ago, focusing attention, lights, and music on Thursday nights to welcome a clientele that loves good food, music, and clubbing.

Today, this vision takes shape in a complete restyling of the sound system across the different areas of the venue, emphasizing consistency, power, and adaptability in the interior design.

Acoustic insulation was a key aspect in creating the perfect environment, and the company of Alessandro Leoni carried out this project, making it easier to evaluate the possibilities and installation options.
As Alessandro Macrì, Site Coordinator of the project, explains: "The first objective was to remove the previous speakers, which were too reverberant, and replace them with more efficient, low-profile designs that would seamlessly integrate into the environment. A key aspect of the project was achieving even sound distribution. Specifically, we identified a central point, serving as the main source, positioned between the two main rooms, creating a traditional DJ setup. This allowed us to achieve balanced audio quality throughout the venue, avoiding areas of 'empty' sound or excessive concentration. To ensure well-defined frequencies, we chose to pair IS series units, adding two IS25T acoustic sources and concealing them within the furniture. The result is a system that provides more precise and controlled sound distribution. The system was designed to handle different frequencies efficiently, thanks to an input management matrix that allows the system to adapt to any need, whether background music or live performances. Versatility is one of the system's strong points: the ability to easily modify the acoustics based on the environment and the type of event. Another standout feature of this system is its ability to integrate with the venue's design seamlessly. The combination of high-level acoustic performance and elegant, discreet design allows the system to blend naturally into the space, without ever clashing with the environment, but rather harmonizing with it."

The complete installation setup includes the following units:
