An opportunity for training, exchange and technical insight: dBTechnologies returned to China for a session dedicated to its passive installation solutions, hosted in Guangzhou by official partner Digital Media Technology Co. Ltd. (DMT).

The training, led by Enrico Gamberoni, Head of Performance Installation Department, Patrick Hau, Regional Sales SEA, and Ronnie Lai, APAC Application Engineer, provided a practical and application-oriented deep dive into the installation world, starting from a key concept: designing audio systems that can adapt to different environments while ensuring tonal consistency, reliability and ease of use. The session began with the core concept of installation, analyzing the starting point of every project: the environment. From understanding the space — its architecture, intended use and acoustic challenges — the entire design approach takes shape. In this context, dBTechnologies’ installation know-how translates into scalable, versatile and easily integrable solutions, designed to ensure consistent performance over time and simplified system management. Special attention was given to the speaker design approach, with a focus on coverage, sound distribution and aesthetic integration — all key elements in installation projects. Another key focus of the training was the application of products according to different market segments. From commercial solutions, designed for retail, hospitality and corporate environments, to performance configurations for more demanding spaces in terms of SPL and dynamics, dBTechnologies offers a coherent and modular ecosystem. The theoretical session was complemented by an indoor demo, allowing participants to directly experience system performance and evaluate behavior in a real environment. Significant attention was also given to Aurora Net, a key tool for monitoring, managing and optimizing installed audio systems.
